The Ford Anglia 1200 123E also called the Ford Anglia Super was produced from 1962 until 1967. It is basically a higher performance version of the Ford Anglia 105E. The 123E had a 1198 cc engine compared to the 997 cc of the 105E. Due to the increased engine size, the 1200 123E had the same chassis design but with larger dimensions which is why it has a different chassis designation.
Rationale
Designed as a higher performance version of the 105E.
