Ford Anglia E494A

The Ford Anglia E494A was basically the same car as its predecessor, the Ford Anglia E04A. With the same body shell, the main difference was a more modern looking front end design with a twin sloped radiator grille.

The model was produced in the UK from 1949 to 1953.

Rationale

Once again, like its forerunner, it was a basic car aimed at the more affordable section of the UK market. It was the cheapest four whelled car available.

Design

The Ford Anglia E494A was introduced as a replacement for the Ford Anglia E04A.
